What You’ll Actually Do Business Accounting: Support accounting and reporting activities for Ally business lines and enterprise functions. Financial Processes: Assist with account analysis, reconciliations, and general financial reporting processes. Close Activities: Contribute to month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring timely financial reporting. Tax & Controls: Prepare tax provisions, support tax forecasting, and assist with testing and monitoring internal controls. External Reporting: Support the preparation of reports filed with the SEC, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q. The Must-Haves Background: Must be graduating between December 2027 and May 2029. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (entering senior year) or a Master’s degree in Accounting. Students entering their junior year in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field may also be considered. Experience: Ability to participate for the full duration of the internship from May 2027 to August 2027. Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Interest in obtaining CPA licensure. Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Bonus: Previous accounting internship, project experience, or coursework demonstrating accounting knowledge.
