- Manage a team of design professionals and technicians
- Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams
- Perform business development/application tasks and collaborates with staff to increase project wins and develop long lasting client relationships.
Routine tasks include:
- You inspire project teams to higher levels of achievement.
- You consistently engage employees in discussions on job satisfaction and engagement and provide ongoing recognition and feedback to employees and teams.
- Ability to perform mass & energy balance and process equipment sizing calculations and coordinate with other engineering disciplines including stress/structural, instrumentation & controls, and electrical.
- Understanding of local and regional jurisdictional codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
Education and Experience:
- Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years related experience in project management, preferably for water/wastewater projects.
- Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license within 6 months.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
- Demonstrated successful experience in leadership, including defining and setting the direction for a team, project, and office; strategy development; change management; and corporate stewardship.
- Travel to other offices as well as to project sites may be required.

**Pay Range:** Locations in MN, OH, VT, & Various CA, NY Areas-$128,600.00 - $192,900.00 Annually Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ Areas-$141,500.00 - $212,200.00 Annually Locations in WA, DC & Various CA, MA areas-$151,700.00 - $227,600.00 Annually Locations in NYC & CA (Bay Area) & NJ (RP)-$162,000.00 - $243,100.00 Annually
**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
